Chapel at ALCS

One of the most wonderful things that happens each week at Abundant Life Christian School is Chapel!  Chapel both for the elementary students and for the middle/high school students is a powerful opportunity for our students to learn more about the Lord, to grow in knowledge of His character, to deepen their relationships with the Father, and to support each other through prayer as well as to share in worship.

It is our goal to provide a variety of spiritual experiences for the student body at Abundant Life Christian School so that students will develop life-long spiritual disciplines that lead to a successful Christian life.  Spiritual training partnered with Chapel makes a powerful team in reaching this goal.

We hold Chapel in high regard and attendance is extremely important.  Chapel is part of our Bible curriculum and missing Chapel is the equivalent of missing a 1/2 day of school.

Elementary Chapel

Chapel services will be held weekly for students in KG to 5th grade.  Elementary Chapel is held on Wednesday mornings from 8:20a -9:10a.  Chapel is held in the City Church sanctuary.

Parents and visitors are more than welcome to attend.

Middle & High School (MS/HS) Chapel

MS/HS Chapel plays a critical role in ALCS life and the development of Christian character.  The chapel experience incorporates time for worship as well as a time of sharing from the Word of God. MS/HS Chapel is held each Wednesday morning from 10:10a — 11:20a in the City Church sanctuary.

Once a month at MS/HS Chapel, our ALCS students lead Chapel through a small group format as coordinated by a senior student or student team.  Seven small groups’ leaders work with the coordinator to ensure a valuable small groups experience for our 6-12th grade students.  The idea to have students engage and lead at Chapel was generated by a student and has been a great addition to our Chapel time.

Parents and visitors are more than welcome to join us for Chapel anytime.
