OUR ICS VISION

Educating the next generation of servant leaders who will impact the world for the Glory of God

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Impact Christian Schools seek to partner with parents in the education of their children.  Our school is committed to excellence in all things, including providing a learning environment in which God’s Word and His truths are an integral part.  Impact Christian Schools encourages and facilitates the spiritual, intellectual, physical and social development of each student for the sake of the child, the glory of God, and the furthering of His kingdom.

OUR HISTORY

In 2012, City Church and High Point Church took a step of faith by coming together to build something new in Christian education. Their two schools (Abundant Life Christian School and High Point Christian School) formed a relationship under a management agreement that had a five-year window ending in May 2018. Great things were accomplished in this five-year period for both schools.

During the 2016-17 school year, the conversation about the original partnership between High Point Christian School and Abundant Life Christian School began to change, and a new school was drawn into the conversation: Lighthouse Christian School. In the fall of 2017, all parties concluded that there needed to be a formal move to the creation of Impact Christian Schools (ICS) which is a consortium of Christian schools. These three schools form the original member schools who began working together in the 2018-19 school year.

Impact Christian Schools is...

An administrative support platform for a distinctly Christian consortium of church-based schools that:

  • Work together to produce quality education and character building for children and families
  • Respond to God's mandate to reach a city with the message of Jesus by:
    • Building the local church
    • Being a witness by answering legitimate community needs and concerns
    • Living out Christian thoughts and principles

Q:  What does God want from different private schools connected to Bible-believing churches which are very
different in practice, culture, economics, and ethnicity?

A:  ICS is here to provide academic and school leadership for Christian schools with a much bigger vision than
‘just’ providing quality education. ICS aims to come alongside what God desires to accomplish when His
              presence intersects education.

The outcome?  A robust educational environment where children grow to know their identity in Christ, to develop their purpose in life, and to participate in a community to ‘impact the world for God’s glory.'
