FALL ONE ACTS
This fall, our high school directing class students tackle classical plays. The student directors in partnership with their instructor Pastor Sarah Karlen, ALCS' theatre director, are bringing to life four (4) classical plays. Each full length play has been reduced to one act.
The plays this year include:
"The Trojan Women" - a Greek play directed by Ivy Morrison
“As You Like It” - a Shakespeare play directed by Rachel Griffin
“Everyman” - a Medieval play directed by Matias Finley
“King Lear” - a Shakespeare play directed by Ethan Gabrielse
RUNNING TIME
2 hours plus a 15 minute intermission; each one act is 30 minutes
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Age-Appropriate: The classical one acts are considered age-appropriate for ages 10 years* and older; however, each family should determine for themselves the appropriateness for their children.
*Use of classical language may be difficult for younger children to understand
Location: Our show will take place in the City Church sanctuary. City Church offers accessible parking, is wheelchair accessible, & offers wheelchair accessible seating.

Late arrivals will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager.
