About ALCS

History

Abundant Life Christian School was founded in 1978 as a community Christian school, with its first graduating class in 1985. ALCS was specifically organized to offer academic excellence in a Christ-focused context. ALCS offers grades from preschool through high school (3K–12).

Students

Approximately 200 families from 56 different churches in the greater Dane County area, including metropolitan Madison and its surrounding communities, are represented in the student body.

School Environment

ALCS offers large-school opportunities in a smaller school setting. The learning environment is warm, friendly, and respectful.

While students represent a wide variety of area churches and communities, there is still a familiar face around every corner. Students enjoy getting to know their classmates, and families connect with other families.

Campus

Our facility offers large classrooms, a library media center, science & computer labs, art rooms, band and music rooms, two gymnasiums, and a weight room.

The 28-acre campus provides ample space for athletic fields, play areas, and parking.

We invite you to take a tour to see our campus and facilities in person.

Parents

ALCS nurtures the relationship between parent, child, and school. Parent involvement is not only welcomed, but highly encouraged!

Through FACTS, our school information system, families have access to the Family Portal, a web-based platform providing access to student information and progress.

THE FAMILY PORTAL ALLOWS PARENTS TO:

  • Manage personal information and emergency contacts
  • Access to schedules, current grades, and progress reports
  • Monitor lunch accounts
  • Access classroom web pages with announcements, homework reminders, and other student/parent resources.

Faculty

Faculty members hold undergraduate and graduate degrees and are committed to providing an exceptional Christian education.
