Summary

Tarique's Story is the story of a boy whose sister is taken away and his journey to find her, find his own identity, and understand the power of choosing justice, mercy, and goodness.

The story is told through multiple theatrical and fine art mediums and includes a script, music, and art created by ALCS high school students from Mr. White's original work.

This year, our Theatre for Change shines a light on human trafficking and the power of the gospel to bring change to individuals and communities. Over the summer, a group of students have been working with Mr. Curtis White, one of ALCS’ high school teachers, to take a story he has been telling in MS/HS Chapel over the last six years and turn it into a mixed media stage performance.

As part of our Theatre for Change this year, ALCS is honored to partner with six different local Christian organizations who are fighting human trafficking.
