Schedule Parent-Teacher Conferences Today

At Abundant Life Christian School, we value the partnership between parents and teachers in creating opportunities for successful achievement in the classroom.

ALCS sets aside time just for parents and teachers to discuss a student's progress.  Parent / Teacher Conferences are a wonderful opportunity for parents to connect with the faculty, and we encourage every family to do so.

Register (new users)

  • Enter your email address and click "Login/Create Account".
  • Fill in the required fields and register.

Sign In

  • If you've previously registered, all you need to do is enter your email and password. If you have forgotten your password, you can select the Forgot Password button and a new password will be emailed to you.

Scheduling

  • You will see a list of teachers. Select the box next to the teacher name(s) that you would like to schedule a conference with. You will then see the schedule of available times for those teachers. Choose all of the teachers you would like to meet with. (You can view your student's schedule in Family Portal to determine which teachers to meet with).
  • Each colored square represents an available meeting time. The legend shows you which teacher corresponds to which color and the times increase as you go down the page.
  • Click on a square to schedule that time.
  • You will optionally have the choice of setting a time when you would like an email reminder to be delivered, and you will be prompted to enter in the name of your student.
  • Click on “Create Appointment”.
  • Repeat until you have a time with each teacher you’d like to visit with.
  • You can click on the “Printable Schedule” link located on the top right corner and print the resulting web page to get a hard copy of your schedule. You will also have the option to email the schedule to yourself.
  • If you want to make changes to your schedule you can click on the “Your Schedule” link, OR you can login at any other time with your email and password.

Grades & Schedules

Report Cards will be available in Family Portal beginning Friday, October 31. It will be helpful to have reviewed student grades prior to conference days.

  • Go to the "Student Section" and click on "Report Card" to view.

Middle/High School parents should use their student's schedule to determine who they may need to meet.  Student class schedules can be viewed and/or printed from Family Portal.

  • Go to the "Student Section" and click on "Schedule" to see what classes/teachers your student has.
  • Do not schedule conferences with teachers of study halls (SH)

Some teachers have limited availability; check their individual conference schedules for details.

 

We Want to Meet with You!

All families are encouraged to sign-up for conferences, especially if the student is receiving a low grade in a class or there is a concern. If you have multiple students with the same teacher, please only schedule one time slot with that teacher.  

  • Conferences will take place in person.
    • Preschool Homeroom Teachers - 20 minutes / conference
    • Elementary Homeroom Teachers- 20 minutes / conference
    • Middle/High School & Specials Teachers- 10 minutes / conference
      • If you are unable to come during the days that have been set aside for conferences, but would like to meet with teacher(s), please contact the teacher(s) directly.
  • Remember:  leave some time between conferences to move throughout the building. 

NOTE: If you get a notice that you have reached the maximum number of conferences, please try logging out and then logging back in.
