Theatre in Our Schools Month

It is a joy to celebrate Theatre in Our Schools Month (TIOS).

In 2024, we  . . .

~ shared highlights of benefits of theater education for students in daily announcements and on social media

~ hosted ‘Show Shirt Day’ inviting students to wear a shirt from a show in which they have participated

~ launched our summer theater camp

~ opened ticket sales for our spring musical.

Our theatre students in MS and HS are busy with the academic classes, learning about theatre as an art form along with its various components from acting to directing and more.  They also gain an appreciation for playwrights and plays, studying a wide variety of pieces.

Beyond the classroom, our theatre program presents an annual fall play and a spring musical.
