2024 Challenger Athletic Awards Recognition & Celebration
Friday, May 17. . . Celebrate the joy of Athletics!
Please join us for the annual Challenger Athletic Awards Recognition and Tailgate Potluck Picnic on Friday, May 17, 2024.
WHO: All are welcome to join us, but specifically, reaching out to all student athletes and their families in grades 4th through 12th that participated in an ALCS sport to attend the Athletic Awards Recognition and Celebration.
WHAT: Challenger Athletic Awards Recognition & Celebration with fun activities like corn-hole and lightening basketball games.
WHEN: Friday, May 17, 2024, 4:00 pm until approximately 8:00 pm.
WHERE: ALCS high school and cafeteria gymnasiums (CGM).
WHY: To recognize all of our athletes and present senior athlete awards in a fun and safe atmosphere at the end of the school year.
TIMELINE:
Arrive at 4:00 pm to cheer on the girls vs boys volleyball match in the high school gymnasium or participate in activities in the CGM or outside if the weather is nice. Dinner will consist of cheeseburgers, hamburgers or hot dogs plus potato salad, baked beans, chips, cookies and lemonade. Athletic Awards Recognition and Ceremony starts at 6:30 pm in the high school gymnasium. If you want to participate in the half-court shooting competition, head to the gymnasium at 6:15 pm.
All are welcome to join us for the fun activities even if you don’t attend the Athletic Recognition.
