Abundant Life's Christian puppet team is known as POW or "Puppets of the Word". They seek to share God's Word in an effective and creative way. This team ministers to the school during chapel, as well as an outreach to other churches and nursing homes in the community. Our puppeteers have the opportunity to learn lifelong skills that can be used for evangelizing and in children ministries. They learn about theater staging, script reading, organization, team work and gain confidence in performing while having fun.
Our team motto: "In this way the Word of our Lord spread widely and grew in POWer." Acts 19:20
Tanya Salsbury and Cheryl Nelson direct our puppeteers. They meet weekly beginning in October and go through April. You can see them perform at several venues in the Spring.
