A Ministry of Lake City Church

 | Abundant Life Christian School, a ministry of Lake City Church, was founded in 1978, with its first graduating class in 1985. ALCS was specifically organized to offer students academic excellence in a Christian context. Current enrollment is 249 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12, including 80 in the high school.
Families attending ALCS are from the greater Dane County area including metropolitan Madison and its surrounding communities. Two hundred ten families and over 60 different churches are represented in our student body. We are honored that these families and churches have chosen to partner with ALCS for the education of their children. |

As we celebrate more than 30 years (1978 - present), we rejoice in the special honors and recognition that Abundant Life has recently received locally, nationally and internationally. The August 2007 issue of Madison Magazine ranked the 21 Dane County high schools, both public and private. We are pleased to report that ALCS ranked 4th out of 21 schools based on academic achievement, learning environment, and cultural environment. Further, our own Administrator, Mr. Bill Zehner, was named "Administrator of the Year" and ALCS received the "School of the Year Award of Excellence" from the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA). ICAA serves 125 Christian schools in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. We thank God for these honors and our dedicated staff here at Abundant Life.
