Foremost Media, Inc. Annual Scholarship: $500

Deadline: May 1, 2019. This scholarship is for a graduating senior who is entering the marketing or web development field. Requirements: 250-500 word essay, resident of the United States, enrolling at a two or four-year college or trade school, recommendation letter. Apply online using link above. Building homes for the nation is too important a priority to neglect the education, training and research that will be needed to support the residential construction industry. The National Housing Endowment is answering the call by continuing to find avenues to educate students on the many opportunities a career in construction offers.

Scholarships are awarded for the academic year following the application deadline beginning with the fall semester.   Re-applications accepted from former scholarship applicants and recipients who meet current criteria. 

MikeRoweWorks 2019 Work Ethic Scholarship Program 

 We’re looking for the next generation of aspiring workers who will work smart and hard.  This program doesn’t focus on test scores, grades, or grammar.  It’s about the people who share our values and understand the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude.

Recovery Village Health Care Scholarship 

Apply by June 30, 2019. The Recovery Village is dedicated to maintaining exceptional service at our alcohol and drug rehab facilities while providing unique opportunities for education and personal development. As part of this commitment, The Recovery Village is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a medical-related course of study. 

Bowseat Ocean Awareness Art Contest

Create a piece about a coastal/marine species, place, or system that will be threatened, altered, or lost due to climate change. Submissions are accepted in:
Visual Art, Poetry, Prose, Film, Music

Students from around the world are invited to participate in the Ocean Awareness Contest. Enter the division based on your age at the time of entry:

Junior Division: Age 11-14
Senior Division: Age 15-18
All students must also provide the contact information for an adult sponsor (teacher, parent, mentor, etc.). Students may participate as individuals or a group of any size.

Feldco Windows, Siding, and Doors Scholarship Contest

  • Feldco Windows, Siding and Doors is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a current or prospective college student that submits a winning essay on the topic, “How has your family contributed to who you are today?”

MarvelOptics.com Scholarship Contest

  • WHO IS ELIGIBLE: Any current, full-time student at an accredited two-year or four-year American university or college is welcome to apply. There is no age nor specified major requirement.

  • DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION:  The essay submission deadline is 12:00 midnight EST August 15th for the Fall semester and January 5th for the Spring semester. 
  • AWARD AMOUNT: Two gifts totaling $3000 will be awarded annually. Each semester (spring and fall), one recipient will receive a $1,500 scholarship to the institution of their choice. The scholarship will be sent directly to the school’s financial aid office.

PTAC Crew Scholarship 

The PTAC Crew Scholarship will be awarding one student $1,500. Candidates must be studying the HVAC trade at an accredited vocational or technical school. To qualify, you must be attending classes or planning to attend classes in an HVAC or HVAC-related program during the 2019-20 school year.

About the scholarship: PTAC Crew will award $1,500 to one student, either currently attending or planning to attend a vocational or technical school.

  • The scholarship program will begin accepting applications June 1, 2019.
  • The deadline for receiving applications is August 1, 2019 and the winner will be chosen within 60 days following the deadline.

In order to participate in the scholarship application process, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be registered student at a vocational or technical college in the United States for the 2019-2020 school year.
  • Be enrolled in an HVAC or HVAC-related program.
  • Students with full academic scholarships are not eligible to enter.
  • Applicants must completely fill out the form located at ptaccrew.com/scholarship.
