Abundant Life Christian High School is
proud to be a charter member of the National Honor Society (NHS). Consisting of many chapters across the United States, NHS is the leading scholarship & service organization for high school students in the nation.

Membership in NHS is selective & selection is based on four core criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, & character. The National Honor Society requires community service to the community, school, or other organizations. NHS members are actively engaged in the school community while maintaining high academic standards.

Each fall, the ALCS Chapter of the National Honor Society elects officers, who, under the supervision of our chapter adviser, Miss Painter, coordinate & manage the chapter as a key student leadership organization here at ALCS.

Congratulations to our 2017-18
National Honor Society

President: Ashlen C.

We anticipate wonderful things from this year’s National Honor Society under their leadership!

Our Induction Ceremony for new members of NHS will be on Thursday, November 30, during MS/HS Chapel.  We look forward to welcoming 8 new members to NHS this year!

Our ALCS Chapter is guided by the four main purposes of NHS in their program & activities:

     1. to create enthusiasm for scholarship
     2. to stimulate a desire to render service
     3. to promote leadership
     4. to develop character in the students of
         secondary schools

The National Honor Society was founded in 1921 by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
